Not long after I posted the MG PBG Mille Miglia pictures yesterday, I got a message from the owner of the PB pictured. He did it with the same car in 2019, and is hoping to participate again in 2022. Just a compliment for the car, that it is up to the grueling conditions of that event. Also hats off for the driver and co driver. It certainly would not a comfortable ride in my eyes. Thanks Hans!! Great picture

MG PB in the Mille Miglia
OK. Here I go..... As a face book friend calls me, a Bernoulli effect guy in an Air Flow Mass meter era, I sweat by the idea of doing this. Blogging! Not even sure if I understand the real meaning of the word, but the way I understand, and will use it, is a means to keep interested readers informed of what is going on at Vintage Sports Car. A kind of updating you on the projects we work on. I know, I have not done much of that lately. Right now the most actual thing going on in the shop is the sale of the 1935 MG PB on Bring a trailer. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1935-mg-pb/ What is not mentioned in the text (yet) is that the car is Mille Miglia eligible . I have some pictures from 2011 and 2012 of PB entered and participating in that rally. This car will without very much doubt ( after all it's an Italian event!) accepted and run with a fairly low starting number. That means early starts and less traffic jams, greatly adding to the fun to have by the driver and co driver. I hope you can enjoy the pictures. It was a wonderful thing to be part of it in the past. 7 cars we serviced during the MM over the years, all of them finished and were qualified at the end. |
