`We offer our customers two options for how we test their newly rebuilt engines.

​Option 1.) Install the motor on a custom build test stand on which we break-in cam shafts and set the timing, etc. The engine will run for multiple times to make sure it runs well, and that there are no leaks or other surprises.

In many cases we send the rebuilt engine back to the customer with things like mark timing etc. on the engine, and the whole package ready to install.

Option 2.) We not only test the engine, but also put a load on it. Our dynomometer can get precise information about the combustion at different load and RPM levels. The jetting, cam, and ignition timing can be set according to the future use of the engine. This option is commonly used for race engines and engines that have undergone significant power upgrades at our shop.

We use special break-in oil for all new engines and inspect the oil filters after the test sessions are done. We use long-standing factory tools and have such equipment as a hydraulic suspension pump for Mini Coopers.  We are one of the very few shops that can balance three lug wheels without a center hole (Citroen, Peugeot, Renault Matra and Alpine). Of course we also have the equipment to properly balance spoke wheels. Other timeworn, often used equipment are the Sun distributor machine and Dunlop gauges for aligning.

We now also have a key duplicating ,machine, and can cut you new spare keys.

At the beginning of the cold weather season, the car will be checked for a full battery. There are many battery tenders available to keep the batteries of each car charged.

​The vehicle's tires will be kept inflated. The car will be rolled every other week to avoid flat spots.  
We prepare the car for long periods of not running, by fogging the cylinders and adding Stabil to the fuel.
The vehicle's oil pressure will be build up without compression and the engine will be started a couple of days before you intend to pick it up.

​The winter storage space is checked on a daily basis. ​For your peace of mind, there are cameras working 24/7 keeping a lens on the entrance.
